Join Maryland Westie Rescue for a Westie Weekend on April 20-22, 2012 at the Turf Valley Spa & Resort in Ellicott City, MD!

That weekend, the Chesapeake Bay West Highland White Terrier Club (CBWHWTC) will be hosting the West Highland White Terrier Club of America’s (WHWTCA) 2012 Roving National Specialty show.

In conjunction with this event, we will be hosting a weekend of fun events for you and your Westie. You can register for some or all of the events. The highlight of the weekend will be a special "Westie Wisdom" training workshop with Jane Fink on Saturday, April 20th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Jane Fink has been in Westies since 1988, competing in obedience, conformation, agility, as well as enjoying terrier trials and pet therapy visits. Upon completing an obedience title on her first Westie in 1991, Jane was asked to help instruct obedience classes. In 1992 she opened her own obedience school, Anderson Dog Works in Anderson, South Carolina, where today she is the sole instructor, teaching 14 classes a week from puppy kindergarten to competition and Canine Good Citizen/Pet Therapy classes.

Jane is a long time member in good standing with the West Highland Terrier Club of America, the West Highland White Terrier Club of England, and the West Highland White Terrier Club of Greater Atlanta. Jane has fostered and rehabilitated rescue Westies for the Atlanta club since 1991.

The absolute deadline to register for Jane's workshop is April 11. We must have at least 20 registered to hold the workshop!!
